Dear Erik and Steve,

We would like to start off this letter by wishing you and your family a very Happy New Year. Joe and I along with everyone involved would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your donation to Kieths Serenity House #2. As you know, four years ago Joe decided to further his recovery and help others to his fullest. Doing just that, he started a three quarter house for recovering drug addicts and alcoholics. The house was named after a close friend of Joe’s that was unable to fight his addiction to heroin and passed away February 22, 1998. Within two weeks of opening the house it became a home for seven addicts in hope to beat thier addiction. Just 3 1/2 years later, Joe found himself having to turn many away due to our house staying filled. This made his feelings go into overdrive. So the story goes, God watched out for us and before you know it the house became available right next to our first house. The closing of this house happened on December 15, 2008 and now houses six more gentlemen working and hoping for a life long recovery from addiction. With out you along with others just like yourself , Joe and I would not have been able to put this house together. Now we will be able to continue seeing more success in beating the disease of addiction. So once again thank you and God be with you and your families.

This was a great experience to help out in the community to another family who is doing great things for those who believe they can make a change in their lives. Thier ability to see light in dark times was an opportunity we all know will come together once fruition has its form. Kind of like our story but more rewarding.

This family is the real hero in the situation and our hats at MPS are off to them.
